Hakko Heating Element
Simultaneous use of two 24V soldering irons, combined with separate and independent on/off and temperature controls, allows this station to handle a wide range of applications. Dual-output power unit is matched up with a macro iron (P/N C1148) for general purpose soldering, and a micro iron (P/N 900SESD) for SMT and precision soldering. Irons are interchangeable and feature dial-adjustable temperature range of 392°F-896°F, quick heat-up, and fast thermal recovery to provide high quality soldering at low tip temperature. Ceramic heating element built into each iron maintains tip temperature to within ±1.8°F of setting. Leak voltage between tip and ground is less than 0.6mV. Non-sluffing, static-dissipative housing eliminates any possibility of static discharge. Station meets Mil-Specs MIL-STD-2000, DOD-STD-2000-1B and WS-6536E; and ESD-Specs DOD-STD-1686 and DOD-HDBK-263. Operates on 120VAC and comes with 50-watt macro iron (includes 900MT16D tip), 50- watt micro iron (includes 900STI tip), dual iron holder with sponge, and 3-wire cord.
